Doubling the travelling range of your Husqvarna doesn’t mean compromising the feel of your bike, thanks to Safari Tanks’ Husqvarna tank.

By developing a brand new tank that has the same styling as the original tank, we have managed to preserve the original ergonomics, as well as keeping the weight low down on the bike, with 13 litres below the level of the standard fuel tank. This gives you the option of almost two and a half times the original fuel capacity.

The result is our narrowest trail tank yet that gives the rider a natural feel on the bike, and the confidence to push your charge hard as you manoeuvre through the trees or along narrow mountain tracks.

It’s now easier to complete longer trips, but also means you only have to put as much fuel in the tank as you need, which is sensible for short rides.

Which then puts the onus back on you! Can you stop riding after one hour, two hours, or do you need more time in the saddle? Naturally the choice is yours, but we don’t recommend filling the tank if you only plan on riding for 100 kilometres.

The new Husqvarna tank covers the side of the radiator and incorporates a cross brace, giving your radiator our renowned crush protection.

Designed and built right here in Australia, our development team has ensured that the tank has been tried and tested in the toughest conditions, including the 2010 24-Hour Reliability race in South Australia, where it came through unscathed.

The result is a tank that does exactly what it was designed for – giving a rider extra fuel range, without comprising on styling.

Fits: TE250*, TE310**, TE450, TE510 (*Fits models up to 2009, **Fits models up to 2010). NOTE: will only fit fuel inject models.
