I hit a kangaroo at 70km/h last week on my DRZ400E, which has a 17 litre Safari Tank fitted.
The tank saved me a lot of damage to my radiator, and there was minimal damage to myself or the bike.
The only thing wrong with the tank was my fuel tap snapped. I rang last week to buy a new one and without asking, a new one was sent to me free of charge.
I have installed it and all is good! I have told anyone that will listen about this kind act. I love my tank.
My only issue is I wish I got a clear tank instead of a yellow one, but other than that, after 17,000km it's still going strong.

First, I want to let you know that I love my 08 TE610 25L Safari tank. You guys did a fantastic job with it.

From the riding perspective, it's no bigger than the stock tank, with 5 gallons of fuel in it it handles easier than the stock tank filled up, and I've thrown my bike down the trail a few times already and there's no apparent damage to the tank.  Cool, thank you :-)
I just wanted to drop you this line in case you haven't had the chance to test the Safari tank with the Scotts damper for the TE610.  The damper fits perfectly.  I've attached some photos for you to see.

I've fitted a Safari Tank to each of my DR650s and now my Husky 610. The build quality is exceptional and proven by the number of times I've thrown it away.

I especially like the way the tank still allows me to get my weight forward and over the cross bar. The multiple tie off points also allows me to carry bits and pieces forward.  The sectioned design also stops the fuel sloshing around, which keeps the weight centred and doesn't upset the geometry of the bike or its suspension.

The translucent tank takes the guesswork out of my fuel usage and the slim design doesn't force my legs to turn out like some other tanks might. 

On a recent ride that took in Innamincka, Birdsville, the Northern Territory, Alice, Mt Dare, the Oodnadatta Strzelecki and Finke Tracks, the Flinders Ranges and Cameron's Corner, I wouldn't have got across the Plenty without my Safari Tank.  Rolling into Jervois Station for a refuel was a near thing with a dram still in the tank. 

The next most precious thing after water out in the desert is fuel, and that's why I rely on Safari Tanks.

Hello Folks,
A couple of years back I purchased from you a Safari Tank for my then new DR650. Best thing I ever bought! Undoubtedly you have seen this pictured on the Trail Zone project DR650 (my bike).
I crashed my DR and slid up the bitumen on the left side at about 90km/h. The tank has been really badly gashed, the alloy tank support bracket was bent, but no fuel leakage and the brass inserts are secure. Have ridden about 12,000km since the crash and no problem. 
That is really impressive and speaks volumes about the quality of your product. Congratulations and thanks very much.
